Parking Space Rental

Locust Hill Owners,

During a recent survey regarding parking several owners expressed support for allowing owners to rent their parking space to other residents. To facilitate this, we are looking to build a list of owners who have a parking space they could/will rent out. Please note that any rental agreement is between the owners and the association is not a party to it. If you would like to have your unit on the list of spaces available for rent please contact us at ted@vtpma.com.

Be on the Lookout

A non-resident man has been spotted on Locust Hill Property, mostly in the woods at least once and possibly several more times. Please call the police (911) if you see anything or anyone suspicious or that makes you feel uncomfortable on the property. In the words of a Locust Hill Resident:

“As I was walking the dogs this morning, we came up on a man in the woods right off the path to the pool. The man had been yelling words I couldn’t make out and was hiding behind a tree. The clothes he was wearing (hunter green jacket, tan pants, hood and face mask on) helped him to blend in with the foliage, and we didn’t see him until we were about 8 feet from him. I asked him if he was ok. He yelled some more and took off running towards Pepsi Distribution.

I followed him to the woods in front of Andrew’s place and called 911. While I was on the phone the man saw me and started running towards me, but diverted his path towards the Pet Food Warehouse. The police arrived within minutes of my call. I can’t say if the man would have accosted me or if he was trying to scare me away by running at me. The officer who arrived seemed to know of this man and believes he is staying at North Star. Apparently the man likes to hang out in the woods on our property and in between Pepsi Distribution and Pet Food Warehouse. This man could be the same man other folks have seen on our property dressed in all white.”

Recycling

Our trash and recycling fees are going up in 2024. Now, more than ever it is important to make sure that recycling is done properly. When boxes and cartons aren’t broken properly they take up more space both in our recycling bins and the recycling trucks, leading to an increase in our fees.
